Nations of War is a site where various fantasy civilisations are being built into one culture-rich fictional world. It is intended that these civilisations become the basis for some novels and computer games.
A Brief History...
Long ago, the nations were seven tribes, wich each tribe devoted to a particular virtue. But as the tribes grew, these virtues either turned sour in their people's hearts, or the people forsook all else for their virtue. But now in the fourth age, few still know this, as much of this was forgotten long ago. They are little more than nations of war, stuck in an epic and endless contention.
The war rages on
Over the long ages the lands have been shaped and mishaped by warriors, mages, diplomats and tyrants. And throughout the struggles, hope continues to emerge. But what does the future hold for these nations? Treaties and Peace? Or Shadows and Death? In a world where the determination of a single individual can change the fate of a nation, anything is possible.

At long last, I have finally re-designed this website. When I started this project in 2006, I had a concept for a website made of paper and stone, but my photoshop skills could not translate the website design in my mind. Now I have achieved a much closer realization of that design.
Today marks the start of renewed vigor and commitment to the content of this website. There is a lot of content developing on the PolarisWorld Wiki that is almost ready for presenting here. Stay tuned!

There was a history section under Wisdom that seemed to involve more than just the history of the empire of Saeoth, so I have moved it to the global history section. At least some of these general pages have content in them now! I'm considering replacing the 'About' section with something else, as a brief description of this site is right here on the index page. I have also done some updates in the section of Wisdom, go have a look!

The Wisdom Section has been filled with information from the Amethyst Kindred Website. That civilisation will be developed here from now on. The templates for the other nations have been set up, however content for those is still under development.
