Mental Health Foundation - Resilience Video

Project: Course Assessment

Year: 2008

Roles: Film Lighting, Post Production

As part of my course assessment, I was required to form a group and make a short advertisement for a company. We were allowed to find a company to create the video for, and we chose to work with the Mental Health Foundation of Victoria, to inform their target audience about mental health and being resilient. Whilst the video did not get used in the end, is it still a testament to the work my group put in to discuss a concept that is difficult to demonstrate visually.

The entire group worked hard to film and edit the video sequence. Once the video was edited together, Anthony Bordonaro and myself used After Effects to create the hazy negative emotions that swirl around the characters in the video.

Please note that there is a spelling error on my name at the end of the sequence. The credits mention the name "Ross Upton", using my character name for the "Catching the Hound" video sequence, which involved the same video production group.
