Lego Helm's Deep

Year: 2007

Lego makes for a fun stop-motion tool. This project was self-motivated project to fill in time between semesters at RMIT while sharpening skills in animation.

The animation is based of a scene from the movie The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers. The storyboard was created to follow the same types of shots used in the movie's "Helm's Deep" sequence.

It ended up taking a full week for all the photography, editing and sound capture. But the final product was very successful: it receives more than three thousand views every month. Thanks to Margan Casey for the background music!
